Frederick Sherman, MD

Dr. Sherman is originally from Philadelphia, but has lived in Florida with his wife and three children for more than 20 years. He has been practicing gastroenterology for more than 20 year, and enjoys both the procedural aspect of the field, and the consultative side, where he gets to sit and listen, and learn about his patients’ lives in depth. Dr. Sherman’s professional goal is to make his patients healthy and facilitate them to live long and happy lives. Dr. Sherman is experienced in the evaluation and treatment of a wide array of typical gastrointestinal problems including GERD, IBS, colorectal cancer, IBD, liver disease and pancreaticobiliary disease. He has performed thousands of GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, feeding tube placement and ERCP. Dr. Sherman is fluent in English and Spanish. In his free time, he loves to read, travel, play tennis and spend time with his wife and kids.
