Dr. Eugene Stolow is a board-certified gastroenterologist who is proud to care for patients at Gastroenterology Associates of Florida. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, he earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York before returning to Texas to complete medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During medical school, he simultaneously earned his Master of Public Health degree with a focus on epidemiology and health disparities, strengthening his commitment to preventive care and population health.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at UT Health San Antonio and went on to pursue fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Throughout his training, Dr. Stolow led clinical research projects, authored peer-reviewed publications, and presented his work at national conferences.

Dr. Stolow is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, compassionate and evidence-based care for each of his patients. He has a particular passion for colorectal cancer prevention and early detection, especially given the increasing rates seen in younger populations. He believes in a patient-centered approach to the medical and endoscopic management of gastrointestinal disorders.

He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the Florida Gastroenterologic Society (FGS).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Stolow enjoys spending time with his family, watching basketball (especially the San Antonio Spurs), seeking out great barbecue, and traveling the world. He and his wife, Jen, have visited all seven continents together.
