My stay at at JFK was great. I was treated with care and understanding my surgeon. Dr Rahi was absolutely wonderful. I have no complaints. The staff everyone at JFK is just wonderful. I don’t want to have another surgery but if I do, JFK is where I will go thank you.

An excellent staff, giving quality car. My husband was a patient here for 12 days, first in ER, then in the hospital itself, and finally in ICU. In every case he was treated aggressively, with the doctors and nurses doing all they could for him. The staff is everything you’d want to have taking care of a loved one. The doctors and nurses are very forthcoming and answer questions thoroughly and patiently. I especially appreciated the patient portal which is updated often (sometimes more than once a day) and includes lab results and doctor's updates. My husband could not eat, so I can’t comment on the meal service for patients. The cafeteria leaves much to be desired, but the in-house Subway shop is well managed and Lyn can be counted on to take special pains with your requests. AAA+++ for this hospital.
My husband and I were on a road trip from Georgia to Florida to catch a cruise when he began having abdominal pains. We were directed to JFK Hospital Emergency where they diagnosed and treated the problem. In addition they found that he had an infection, so they admitted him a few hours later, at 3:00 am, to administer antibiotics via IV. Knowing that I had nowhere to go (our hotel was 50 miles down the road), they let me stay with him and even brought me meals along with his the next day! They helped me find accommodations in the area for the following night as my husband was discharged in the late afternoon. Everyone was incredibly nice and very sympathetic to our situation. A special mention to nurses Sam, Gamma, and Hannah, his main nurses, who went out of their way to soften the blow of missing the sailing.
Everyone in the ER were absolute professionals! We were treated like royalty. Thank you all so much.
Rachel at Rothman outpatient registration was amazing! She checked us in for an outpatient MRI and made the process almost pleasurable! She was quick and efficient and guided through the entire process! She advised us to request a CD if we needed it and saved us a trip to pick one up later. She was friendly, polite and cheerful .I would give her more stars if it was an option! She truly is a "ten"!!!

I would give the hospital not only five stars but 10 stars. The service was really and genuinely unbelievable. Everything was done like a fine-tuned watch. I have never received attention in a hospital like this before. My doctor was terrific, and the nurses and staff were phenomenal. This is the way that medicine should be practiced.
